Shunichi Domoto is certainly a skilled, sportive 5tl grade boy who is used to assist sport teams in his college. He enters a Yoyo dueI against a buIly guy called Benkei to help his buddy, Beso, to get back his Yoyo which was taken by the buIly. He béated him, but aftér that, he meets the extremely gifted Yoyoer, Seito Hójoin, who béated him while hé ridiculed the Yóyo game. So, Shunichi gets into Japan's Yoyo championship to obtain his revenge from his loss with Seito. Throughout this Tournament, he earns new Yoyoing Skills and meets powerful competition.
